Henry R. Peterson was the owner of Peterson Truck Farms, a successful vegetable farm in Clay County. The Peterson Farms was one of the most productive truck farms in Minnesota, being a leading producer of onions, potatoes, and other vegetable crops. Peterson contributed to agricultural research, particularly in new breeds of seed potatoes. He was also active in businesses and civic organizations in the city of Moorhead. Peterson, Charles W., 1893-

Charles Wallace Peterson was born in Seattle in 1893. His parents donated land to the then-new Seattle Seminary (now Seattle Pacific University) and Charles attended Seattle Seminary for his elementary education and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1912. His interest in science, particularly the emerging field of radio technology, led to a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington in 1918. From the description of Charles W.
